How to install Jane Player
Android may show a warning the first time, because the app is downloaded outside Google Play. Here’s how to install it safely.
Since version 1.2, the app tells you when an update is available and installs it directly, without a browser. On older versions, download the new version here and install it over the old one — your playlists, favorites and settings stay in place.
Your browser may show a security warning — this is normal for APKs downloaded outside app stores. Tap Download anyway to continue. We recommend letting Google Play Protect scan the app during installation — it is Android’s built-in protection.
The APK published here is the official version, signed by the developer. Always download it from janeplayer.com.
When a new version comes out, Jane Player shows a notice with what’s new. Tap Update now and that’s it — no need to come back here, and your playlists and favorites are kept.
We recommend letting Play Protect scan the app when installing — it is Android’s built-in security system.

- If your browser shows a security warning, tap Download anyway.
- Open the downloaded file (from notifications or your Downloads folder).
- Tap Install. If Play Protect asks, tap Scan. If you see Install unknown apps, allow it for your browser and try again.
- Done! Open Jane Player and allow access to your music and videos.
