1. Acceptance

By downloading, installing or using Jane Player or this website, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the app or the website.

2. License

Jane Player is free for personal use. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable license to install and use it. You may not sell, rent or redistribute modified copies of the app, or reverse engineer it, except where the law expressly allows.

3. Your content

The music and videos you play stay on your device. Jane Player does not upload, store or share your files. You alone are responsible for having the rights to the content you play.

4. Song lyrics

Lyrics come from a free public third-party service (LRCLIB) and are shown for personal use only. We do not guarantee that every song has lyrics or that lyrics are accurate.

5. Deleting files

The app lets you delete music and videos from your device, always with your confirmation. Deleted files cannot be recovered by the app.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the app or the website for illegal purposes, to harm our services or to try to access our systems without permission. Automated or abusive downloads may be limited or blocked.

7. Donations

Jane Player is free. Donations made through PayPal are voluntary, do not buy any product, feature or service and are non-refundable, except where required by law.

8. Updates and availability

We may update, change, suspend or discontinue the app or the website at any time.

9. Disclaimer of warranties

The app is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind. Performance, format support and battery use depend on your device and operating system.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, data loss or device problems resulting from the use of Jane Player.

11. Changes to these terms

We may revise these terms from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows the latest version. Continuing to use Jane Player after a change means you accept the new terms.
